As a B2B professional, what is the number one reason you use Twitter?
To both share information that's interesting and get help for business related issues. Twitter's a great source of knowledge!
What is the most important content you provide to your followers on Twitter?
Social media marketing related, probably. I'm on a lot of social media lists!
How do you interact with both followers and those you follow on Twitter?
Personally... I like to chat with friends, make new friends, and I communicate very casually with them, like I do with any friend.
On a scale of 1 (not at all) to 10 (extremely), how important is twitter to your B2B marketing, communications and PR?
HUGELY important. Many leads come from Twitter. We meet people who work for us on Twitter. We meet vendors on Twitter. It's a daily tool.
How would you describe your business strategy for Twitter?
I don't have one. Twitter for me is a blend of business and personal, and I'd use it whether in business or not. I do try to bring value.
What is the most important thing you’ve learned from Twitter?
That we really aren't alone in the world. There are so many awesome people that share our viewpoints and experiences, if we can find them.
What is your best advice for other B2B companies not yet using Twitter?
Start with customer or employee care and use it for that regardless of also promoting products and services. Be warm, friendly and genu
